NEW PLAY YOUR SAY

Ahead of creating our children’s show introducing anti racism and ally ship, we took part in a creative research project with a year two class from Hollickwood Primary School in North London. Using creative, literary and drama based activities developed by our team we got to learn from the young people their understanding of racism today, allowing us to see what existing knowledge they had. Not only was this an insightful way to see how young people engage with our resources we’ve been devising but to aid our commissioned writer on how to pitch the play and explore the themes of the show at a level that would be educational, engaging and relatable for the young be people we wish to reach.

Bellow you can see some of our findings from our week at Hollickwood Primary School

funded by Barnet & Culture for Youth.
